Dr Genevieve Aisthorpe provides a comprehensive range of general practice services to her patients from the Labrador Medical Centre on the Gold Coast.
Dr Aisthorpe holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellowship of Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP) with an Advanced Skill in Adult Internal Medicine.
Dr Aisthorpe grew up in Queensland and completed her medical studies at the University of Queensland. Dr Aisthorpe is a Rural Generalist, and completed the Queensland Rural Generalist Pathway.
Dr Aisthorpe has worked in many and varied roles throughout Queensland, including in hospitals, aged care, emergency departments and general practice, in Toowoomba, Cairns, Babinda and on Stradbroke Island. While at the Gold Coast, she is also working at the Gold Coast University Hospital and with Queensland Youth Cancer Service to develop a survivorship service for adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.
Dr Aisthorpe embraces general practice for the opportunity it provides to get to know her patients, improve health literacy and provide continuity of care.
